Conditions Levant B & B:
You will be a guest in our house, our boat. A houseboat is slightly more vulnerable than a ‘normal’ house and we hope you will respect our conditions, the environment, the neighbours, etc.
We are sharing these rules with you on forehand, hoping we will never have to look back on them (as with contracts etc.).
If something is not working or if you have problems or complaints, please contact us immediately. We will do everything possible to solve the problem. Do not wait till you are already gone, as most things can be realized / changed the way you like it, during your stay.
If we are not in, please contact us via telephone.
The neighbours live close to us; please respect their privacy, as they will respect yours.
We keep the right to cancel or break up a stay with us, if we feel you do not treat our belongings in an appropriate way.
We would like to state that you cannot leave anything other than toilet paper (also with care) and droppings in the toilet. The pump cannot handle anything else. For all other items (sanitary napkins, tampons, cotton wool etc), please use the sanitary bags and put them in the bin.
If the pump gets stuck because of your negligence we will have to keep you responsible for the damage done (but please make sure you won’t, all excrements will end up inside the boat…).
We ask you to make a down payment with your reservation. As soon as this payment is recognisable in our bank account your booking is a fact. The rest you will need to pay upon arrival. Possible extra’s we will settle at departure.
In case of cancellation, the following apllies:
– more than 3 weeks ahead of the reserved period: your downpayment;
– 1 to 3 weeks ahead: 50% of the total rental sum;
– within a week of your booking: 100% of the total sum.
But, if we are able to book with another guest, we will return your (down)payment minus an administrative fee of € 25,=.
We will have to hold you responsible for all damage done to our boat or belongings during your stay. Also if noticed after you have left. Please inform us if you have broken anything or having damaged something in another way.
Loss or theft of the key you need to report immediately. If this happens, we need to charge you € 50,=
We kindly ask you not to take any map, brochure or book without returning it after use. Please leave all items inside our information folder. Most brochures were bought for our guests to use freely, we will of course advice you were and how you can obtain them.
We have “OV chip cards” (Public Transport cards) for our guests to use. This will save you buying these in tram or bus, where they will be more expensive. They are charged for you already with € 5,=, ready to use.
Please reload the cards after use, before returning them to us; this can be done at any Metro station and in a lot of supermarkets (f.e. in “Albert Heijn”, just over the bridge).
Check in is from 14.30 hrs. (earlier by appointment, most of the times we can arrange something)
Check out is not later than 11.30 hrs.
It is forbidden to smoke inside the ship. Outside it’s of course ok to do so, but please do not throw your filters in the water but in the ashtray.
